Today’s the big day!
We’re starting this morning in Brussels with our Project Meeting before our anticipated 2019 User Board meeting kicks off. Project partners are presenting their work, methods, and successes thus far and discussing how to collaborate and navigate expected challenges. We’re looking forward to seeing our User Board participants once again in just a few hours, after last meeting them at our 1st User Board meeting in April 2018.
Tomorrow, we’ll be joined by our Advisory Board to discuss the science behind the data generation.
Follow along with us over the next two days as we live-blog our meetings on Twitter! Twitter.com/Clim2Power.
Our upcoming User Board meeting is fast approaching! We’re delighted to be hosting our 2nd annual User Board Meeting on the afternoon of 12 February in Brussels. The meeting will give us an opportunity to solicit feedback from the User Board on the development of the Clim2Power Climate Service and report on our findings thus far.
The meeting will take shape with a series of presentations on our recent work, followed by group discussions focussed on answering a series of questions targeted at the development of the climate service.
We’re looking forward to meeting our board members once more, including attendees from:
WEMC – World Energy & Meteorology Council
BSC – Barcelona Supercomputing Centre
Directorate-General for Energy
EEA – European Environment Agency
Directorate-General for Climate Action
ENTSO-E – European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity
Vrije Universiteit Brussel – Department of Hydrology and Hydraulic Engineering
